'PHASE 1' is ROTEM's musical launchpad into the cosmos. It represents the beginning of their musical journey. Each track on the EP is a unique sub-phase in their story, capturing that feeling of stepping into the unknown. Like starting a rocket engine, ‘PHASE 1’ is the ignition.

Inspired by Japanese City-Pop and French Disco, 'PHASE 1' brings a breath of fresh air into the universe. Producers Lucas Sim and Rotem Gerad managed to seamlessly create nostalgic productions while using futuristic elements. A string quartet, as well as a 5-piece horn section, were mixed together with drum samples and intricate soundscapes.

Not only have their latest singles from 'PHASE 1' garnered attention with national and international radio airplay—from NPO2 in the Netherlands to Japan's largest radio station, J-WAVE—but 'See Ya' and 'Little Bit' also secured a coveted spot in DJ Taro's prestigious Spotify Editorial playlist in Japan.
